This article aims to help troubleshoot errors you might be encountering when running forecast, rating, or shaping requests. If you encounter an error that is not on this list we'd really appreciate you letting us know.
Forecast and shaping error messages
Error message | Problem | Fix |
Volume data contains undefined values for measurement bespoke. | The forecast or rating request cannot identify consumption in the forecast or shaping time periods provided. | Change the forecast dates to match or be within the consumption boundaries. |
Failed to normalise CSV to complete interval | The csv file provided could not be processed. | Insure your file matches the required structure and format. |
Unable to complete charge context processing for forecast request | The forecast or shaping failed due to an error with one of the sites provided. | |
Rate set compilation failed: Duplicate rate codes: ENERGY | Duplicate rate codes were found in the given rate sets, therefore rating does not know which rate code to use. | Review the given ratesets for duplicate rate codes. |
Missing rate interval in record xxxxxZ at index yyy (required for forecast period) | Data is missing in the given price curve. | Discuss with your Factor representative on getting this price curve updated |
Out of range, Price Curve Day data not found for xxx in period yyy to zzz. Please ensure data has been imported. | The pricing curve used in the forecast or shaping does not have data for the period provided in the request. | Either change the request to match the available data, or import new price curve data. |
Price curve with identifier xxx not found. | The price curve referenced in the rate set provided to the request is no longer available. | Review the rate set configuration and check the price curve exists. |
Interval set has no intervals | ||
No price found for part 'X' in rate code Y | There was no price or rate defined for a given temporal rate part. | Review the provided rate sets for missing rates. |
Interval width mismatch: consumption 60min vs Interval Series 5 | The consumption provided cannot be rated with the given price curve because they use different intervals. | Use a rate set with a price curve which matches the given consumption width. |
